THE XPRESS GUIDE

TO DTF TRANSFERS

Welcome to our quick start guide to DTF transfers. Allow us to help you become a total pro at making and using DTF transfers in jut a few short minutes. First we'll explain the process from ordering to pressing, then we'll get into more details on how to excel at each step.

First, what are DTF transfers? DTF transfers are a type of heat transfer used for customizing most soft and fabric based items. The transfers are made using a specialized printer that used Inkjet technology to print onto a thin transparent film. This print requires a white under base layer to allow colors to be vibrant even on dark items. The print then gets a layer of DTF powder sprayed on and is melted onto the design. This then becomes the adhesive layer that will transfer the design from the film onto your items. Using heat and pressure you can then transfer the design from the film onto your item very easily.

File Check

Before you upload your designs, you need to make sure they are saved properly. We accept a wide range of file types, all submitted files should be 300 DPI or higher and the exact size you need for the best result when printing.
Unfortunately DTF cannot print transparency so all pixels you want printed out must be 100% opaque.

To avoid the white under base from peeking under the edge of our prints, we add a small bleed to all the designs. To ensure we can take the proper precaution to avoid these white edges, we recommend to avoid having any areas that are smaller than 6 pixels across

Our user-friendly interface makes it super easy to upload your images, size them, position them, and even make some last minute adjustments. You can easily duplicate images and space them evenly to allow for easy cutting.

Avoid areas under 6px across

No transparency or fades in/out
